Stories from Earth

Stories from Earth is an ongoing documentary storytelling project by TUTA Magazine exploring how people live with, understand, and respond to a changing environment. Through stories of farmers, researchers, artists, craftspeople, and local communities, the project documents the relationships between people, their landscapes, cultural traditions, and the knowledge they carry.

Moving beyond environmental change as a story told only through data and headlines, Stories from Earth places people and their lived experiences at the centre. It explores how environmental changes shape everyday life, while highlighting the local practices, perspectives, and knowledge that inform how communities relate to their surroundings.

The project is an evolving collection of stories from different places and backgrounds, bringing environmental issues closer to everyday life through documentary storytelling, visual narratives, and individual voices.
